Throwback Thursday

The Prichard Bridge is located in the ancient city of Llandaff to the north of Cardiff, much of which is now a conservation area. It was named after Welsh architect John Prichard and leads from the Cathedral to the cemetery. It is a beautiful structure but was completely overgrown when Quadriga were enlisted to carry out full restoration works in 2013. Vegetation was removed before the bridge was sympathetically cleaned and stone indents and in-situ stone repairs were carried out. Finally, new gates and railings were installed to both sides of the bridge.
